At The Right Specs, we stand by the quality of our products and offer a Satisfaction Guarantee to ensure your peace of mind. You have a 15-day cooling off period from the date of purchase, during which our 15-day Money Back Guarantee policy applies. This means that if, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with the sunglasses you purchased, you can return them to us within 15 days.

To be eligible for a full refund or exchange, the sunglasses must meet the following criteria:

  1. They must be in brand new and unused condition.
  2. They should be in their original packaging with all seals unbroken.
  3. The sunglasses must be free of damage.
  4. Returns must be sent via a tracked postage service to ensure proper receipt.

Please note the following conditions for the return process:

  1. We will refund the full amount, or exchange for a different pair of sunglasses to the same or lesser value at your request, minus any non-refundable fees (e.g., Afterpay, Credit Card, Paypal, ZipPay) and outgoing postage (approximately $12).
  2. Items that are damaged, obviously used, or cannot be resold as brand-new items will not qualify for a full refund.
  3. If you have any uncertainties about the return process, please reach out to us before sending anything back.

Kindly be aware that these benefits exclusively apply to prescription eyewear for the individual who will make the purchase and use the respective eyewear. Non-prescription items are not covered under this claim.

Warranty

At The Right Specs, we take great care to ensure that all items, including sunglasses, are thoroughly inspected before being shipped. However, if you notice any issues or concerns with your sunglasses upon receipt, please don't hesitate to contact us immediately for assistance.

Rest assured, all sunglasses purchased from The Right Specs are covered by a genuine manufacturer warranty against faulty workmanship. The specific warranty period may vary depending on the brand but is typically 1 or 2 years.

If you believe you have a warrantable claim due to faulty workmanship or a defective product (excluding accidental damage), please follow these steps:

  1. Return the glasses to us via express post.
  2. We will forward the glasses to the manufacturer for assessment.
  3. The decision for warranty repair, replacement, or refund rests solely at the discretion of the manufacturer.

Here are some essential care instructions to keep your sunglasses in excellent condition:

  3. Avoid allowing salt water to dry on your sunglasses, as it may cause corrosion to metal parts and could scratch the lenses if wiped with a dry cloth.
  4. Prevent distortion and damage by not leaving your sunglasses on the dashboard or console of your car, especially in excessive heat.
  5. Protect the hinges and screws by removing your sunglasses from your face with both hands.
  6. Avoid stretching the sunglasses or damaging the temples/hinges by not wearing them on your head.

  2. Category 1: Provides limited sun and UV protection, not fully classified as sunglasses.
  3. Category 2: Offers moderate sun glare reduction and adequate UV protection.
  4. Category 3: Provides high sun glare protection and effective UV shielding.
  5. Category 4: Special-purpose lenses unsuitable for driving due to their specific design and functionality.

GST

At The Right Specs, we comply with Australian Taxation law, and where applicable, the Goods & Services Tax (GST) is already included in the purchase price. This means that the price you see for our products includes the necessary GST amount.
